DESERT SURF - EQUIPMENT RENTAL AGREEMENT

1.1 The Lessor undertakes to provide the Lessee with sports equipment (hereinafter referred to as the equipment) for temporary possession and use (rental)

• Surfboard in quantity of 1 unit, estimated value: 400€
• Wetsuit in quantity of 1 unit, estimated value: 350€.

1.2 The Lessee will be assigned a specific surfboard and wetsuit on the first day of rental. The Lessee is responsible for this assigned equipment for the duration of the rental period. If the Lessee exchanges the assigned equipment with another individual, they remain fully responsible for the condition and return of the original items provided.

2. The Lessee confirms that he/she is aware of the rules of use and return of the equipment and undertakes to fulfill them.

3. The Lessee has the right to inspect the issued equipment and fix the existing faults. By signing the present contract the Lessee confirms that he/she has inspected the equipment upon receipt and accepted it.

4. The Lessee is obligated to:

4.1 Treat the Lessor's rented property and equipment with care and responsibility.

4.2 Use the rented equipment only for personal purposes (without transferring it to third parties) within the specified territory, for its direct purpose.

4.3 Take measures to ensure the property safety of the equipment, preventing its loss. Do not leave the equipment unattended in public places.

4.4 Pay for the repair of the equipment damaged according to the Lessor's price list, as well as fully reimburse the losses caused to the Lessor.

4.5 Pay the equipment value of the equipment in cases of:

- loss, as a result of negligence of the Lessor's property;

- theft, as a result of irresponsible, careless attitude to the Lessor's property;

- breakage that prevents further use of the equipment for its intended purpose.

5. The Lessee has the right to purchase insurance from the Lessor: Equipment insurance, 30€ (payment, not a deposit)

5.1 If insurance is purchased, the costs described in paragraphs 4.4 and 4.5 shall be paid by the Lessor, except the case of loss and theft as a result of irresponsible, careless attitude

5.2 In case of total breakdown of equipment when the equipment is replaced, the Lessee shall pay for new insurance for the newly issued equipment

5.3 If The Lessee rejected to buy equipment insurance, they are prohibited from:

- using the equipment for additional surfing beyond the agreed sessions without payment. Extra use can only be arranged according to The Lessor’s price list.

- changing the assigned equipment. The Lessee must use only the surfboard and wetsuit initially provided.The Lessee may request a change of equipment for ones in better condition, by paying a deposit of €200. This deposit will be used to cover any damages to the equipment. If no damages occur, the deposit will be refunded in full.
